  Snow Train Savings
SAVE UP TO £60 ON THE SNOW TRAIN TO THE ALPS
OVER CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR

At a loose end over the festive season, or seeking inspiration for a winter get-away? Problem solved! Rail Europe has a special offer which will save you up to £60 on a return trip to the Tarentaise - and you get to party on the train!

Choose from two options:

1) Eurostar from London to Paris, followed by an easy platform change to a Snow Train at the Gare du Nord: just £199 return on 23 and 30 December departures, a saving of £60.

2) Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais where you board a Snow Train direct to the Alps: just £159 return on the 30 December departure, a saving of £50.

With the Snow Train, you travel overnight in a comfortable couchette compartment straight to the heart of the French Alps. You arrive early Saturday morning, leaving yourself up to 8 days of skiing or boarding before returning the following Saturday evening. And with a bar/disco car on the train, you can party all the way if you feel up to it.

NEW SNOW TRAIN WEBSITE
Rail Europe's brand new, user friendly website www.snowtrain.co.uk is a mine of information on the train journey itself and the destinations served. Bookings can be made online or by calling 08701 24 46 46. Alternatively, call in at the Rail Europe Travel Centre, 178 Piccadilly, London W1.

Eight Days Skiing For The Price of Six!
If you take the overnight Snow Train to the Alps this coming winter season (2005-06) you can get eight days skiing for the price of just SIX! Rail Europe's overnight couchette train goes direct into the heart of the French Alps arriving early Saturday morning and you don't leave until the following Saturday evening.

Rail Europe are already taking bookings for the new season (still a few months away) and there are two options to select from:
Eurotunnel Folkestone to Calais where you board a Snow Train direct to the Alps from just £169 return or Eurostar from London to Paris followed by an easy platform change to a Snow Train at the Gare du Nord (no change of station!) from £205 return.
Either way you depart on a Friday afternoon and arrive in the Tarentaise early the next morning. After eight days on the clopes, you return overnight to the UK with a choice of curling up in your couchette for a good nights sleep or "living-it-up" in the bar/disco car. And what is more your skis go FREE!

The trains run from 23 December 2005 to March 31, 2006 and serve Chambery, Albertville, Moutiers, Aime la Plagne, Landry and Bourg St. Maurice, all of which are linked to the principal resorts by ski bus in less than an hour.

Rail Europe's message is a simle one. Why fly to the Alps and spend hours transferring to your resort and then only get SIX days on the slopes when you get so much more for your money by travelling by Snow Train?
