Eight Days Skiing For The Price of Six!
If you take the overnight Snow Train to the Alps this coming winter season (2005-06) you can get eight days skiing for the price of just SIX! Rail Europe's overnight couchette train goes direct into the heart of the French Alps arriving early Saturday morning and you don't leave until the following Saturday evening.
Rail Europe are already taking bookings for the new season (still a few months away) and there are two options to select from:
Eurotunnel Folkestone to Calais where you board a Snow Train direct to the Alps from just £169 return or Eurostar from London to Paris followed by an easy platform change to a Snow Train at the Gare du Nord (no change of station!) from £205 return.
Either way you depart on a Friday afternoon and arrive in the Tarentaise early the next morning. After eight days on the clopes, you return overnight to the UK with a choice of curling up in your couchette for a good nights sleep or "living-it-up" in the bar/disco car. And what is more your skis go FREE!
The trains run from 23 December 2005 to March 31, 2006 and serve Chambery, Albertville, Moutiers, Aime la Plagne, Landry and Bourg St. Maurice, all of which are linked to the principal resorts by ski bus in less than an hour.
Rail Europe's message is a simle one. Why fly to the Alps and spend hours transferring to your resort and then only get SIX days on the slopes when you get so much more for your money by travelling by Snow Train?
